Masala, literally meaning ‘spicy’ in Hindi is an exercise dance routine that modernizes the high-
energy folk dance of Bhangra by blending its traditional essence with a "spicy" mix of belly dancing,
hip-hop and modern aerobic techniques.  Performed with flowing ribbons tied to the hands and
colorful clothes, this unique dance mixes cardiovascular with fun!  Suitable for participants of all
ages and fitness levels.  Masala  is an ACE and AFAA approved fitness program sweeping the West
coast and New York as the latest craze in Dance Fitness.
